At MBRK Cabins, we didn’t set out to be cabin builders. Our roots are in engineered steel fabrication, where precision and strength come first. Our parent company, MB Ranch King, builds the toughest deer blinds and towers in Texas, structures trusted to stand strong through wind, weather, and years of hard use. MB Ranch King has a history of quality, and ranch tough feeders, blinds and towers distributed nationwide.
When we went looking for a ranch cabin for our own property near Hico, Texas, we couldn’t find one that met our expectations. We wanted a low-maintenance, all-metal exterior, a rodent- and termite-resistant floor system, and premium interior finishes that could handle the wear and tear of guests, family, and long hunting weekends.
Every quote we received came with the same story. Everything we valued was an upgrade or not an option for factory built, due to transporting the unit and fear of things breaking or cracking: granite, stone showers, glass doors, even the porch. That experience is why we created MBRK Ranch Cabins and Hunting Cabins—to build a smarter, more complete cabin for buyers who know quality when they see it.

The MBRK Difference
Many builders in North Texas come from the shed industry. They build on wood bases and wooden skids, that can cause the unit to bow and bend when picking them up off the shop floor to try to load onto a transport trailer. We build with engineered steel I-beams placed directly on the site concrete foundation, a foundation we pour ourselves if your project is within our delivery range.
This approach keeps your cabin low-profile, sitting just 8–10 inches off the ground, with underpinning, steps, and plumbing connections included. It’s the foundation of real home-quality construction, not temporary setup.
With that solid base, we can confidently include heavy, premium finishes that shed-built cabins can’t support, and offer them as standard. With Steel I-beams, steel floor frame and steel floor joists, you can have your glass shower door, stone shower, granite countertops, larger windows and have them installed in the factory, not an afterthought on site weeks after your delivery.

Engineered Steel Foundation on Concrete
The foundation is where most cabins cut corners, we don’t. Every MBRK cabin sits on steel I-beams anchored to the site concrete foundation. We weld the I-beam to weld plates in concrete. This system ensures structural stability, and keeps pests out. Because your foundation is engineered and solid, we can finish your cabin with granite, stone, and glass without worry, and you enjoy peace of mind knowing your investment will last for generations. -
Full-Length Covered Porch
